Kailong Institute of Technology

Kailong Institute of Technology serves as a national post-doctoral research center,The National Enterprise Technology Center, Jiangsu Province Key Enterprise R&D Institutions, Jiangsu Province Engineering Technology Research Center, Jiangsu Province Enterprise Technology Center, and Jiangsu Province Enterprise Engineering Center cover research on catalyst carriers, catalytic coatings, and catalyst active components. They have undertaken multiple national, provincial, and municipal level projects, including the National Science and Technology Innovation Fund, the National Ministry of Science and Technology Policy Guidance Special Project, the National Development and Reform Commission Key Industry Revitalization and Technological Transformation Special Project, and the Jiangsu Province Major Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Project, it has led and participated in the development of 11 SCR industrial standards, 5 DPF industrial standards, 2 catalyst carrier industrial standards, 1 automotive industrial standard. Besides, it has obtained 177patents approved by State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C, among which 55 are patents for invention; the diesel exhaust post processing system has been selected into the key new product plan of Ministry of Science and Technology, both SCR system and DPF system have passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal of China Machinery Industry Federation; the selective catalytic reduction technology and application of diesel has obtained the First Prize of Science and Technology Award of China Machinery Industry Federation; the key technology and application of diesel exhaust purification has obtained the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Award, etc.

Kailong Institute of Technology has built more than 20 laboratories such as engine laboratory, three-degree-of-freedom vibration laboratory, and 10 engine test benches, equipped with AVL electric dynamometer, emission meter, particle analyzer, particle counter and other advanced R&D test equipments. Kailong has full-capacity of performance test and validation facility for various diesel engines after-treatment systems and core components and laboratory center accredited by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS).
