On January 8, 2015, the 2nd draft consultation and expert working meeting for the diesel engine DPF system industry standard of the National Internal Combustion Engine Standardization Technical Committee was held at the Nanning Hotel in Guangxi. Representatives from over 100 organizations attended, including the Shanghai Internal Combustion Engine Research Institute, FAW Liberation Wuxi Diesel Engine Plant, Sichuan Zhongzi Purification Co., Ltd., Wuxi Weifu Lida Catalytic Purifier Co., Ltd., Weichai Power Co., Ltd., and other domestic DPF aftertreatment manufacturing, research, and educational institutions. Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., as a standard drafting organization, invited Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. to participate in this standard discussion meeting.

This standard discussion meeting primarily discussed: Diesel Engine Particulate Capture System Part 1: General Technical Conditions; Part 2: HC Injection System Technical Conditions; Part 3: Particulate Sensor Technical Conditions; Part 4: Particulate Filter Technical Conditions; and Part 5: Burner Technical Conditions.

Kailong, as a national-level high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales, and after-sales service, is the first domestic independent DPF system manufacturer and holds a leading position in China's exhaust aftertreatment industry. Having engaged in diesel engine DPF system development for three years, the company has accumulated extensive engineering R&D experience in the development of key DPF system components. At the meeting, Kailong Technology Director Dr. Zhu Lei proposed modification suggestions for various technical standard drafts, improving the content of each DPF system standard and adding Kailong's content in areas including DPF electronic control units, DPF system packaging, and DPF fuel injection systems.

The formulation of DPF system industry standards is conducive to standardizing domestic DPF system key component R&D, accelerating the mature development of DPF system exhaust aftertreatment technology, solving the exhaust PM2.5 pollution problems caused by vehicle diesel engine use, actively driving energy conservation and emission reduction work, and providing mature technical solutions for China's upcoming China V and China VI emission standards.

At the meeting, National Standards Commission Secretary-General Ji Weibin expressed hope that Kailong would not only actively participate in modifying the diesel engine DPF system industry standard draft, but would also make new contributions in strengthening DPF system core technology R&D.
