On December 1, 2015, the scientific and technological achievement certification review for the key technology and engineering application of Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd.'s diesel engine exhaust aftertreatment DPF particulate filter system — organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation — was held at Kailong Hi-Tech's Outang headquarters. More than 20 attendees participated, including China Machinery Industry Federation leaders and experts and Kailong Hi-Tech Chairman Zang Zhicheng.

At the certification review, the expert panel listened to Kailong Hi-Tech's technical research report, novelty search report, and relevant inspection reports on the diesel vehicle exhaust aftertreatment DPF particulate filter system; listened to user feedback briefings; and reviewed relevant design documents and technical materials. Simultaneously, the expert panel also visited Kailong Hi-Tech's exhibition hall, production workshop, and engine testing laboratory for on-site inspections. After careful on-site inspection and discussion, the expert panel reached unanimous agreement: Kailong Hi-Tech's core technologies for diesel engine exhaust aftertreatment DPF particulate filter systems — including DPF catalysts and carriers, active and passive regeneration fuel injection systems, DPF aftertreatment ECU controllers, DPF system component modular design, DPF aftertreatment system CAE simulation design technology, and engine and vehicle matching and calibration technology, as well as DPF fault diagnosis technology — were independently developed with independent intellectual property rights, achieving core technology accumulation. The overall technology not only meets China V emission standards for diesel vehicles, but is also applicable to in-use vehicle retrofitting, reaching international industry advanced levels. The expert panel approved the certification.

After the certification review, China Machinery Industry Federation Division Director Ma Jingkun congratulated Kailong Hi-Tech's diesel engine exhaust aftertreatment DPF particulate filter system key technology and engineering application on passing the scientific and technological achievement certification, and expressed hopes and expectations for Kailong Hi-Tech to accelerate product serialization development and promotion and application to meet market demand.
