On April 22, the 2nd World Internal Combustion Engine Congress opened in Jinan, with a concurrent International Internal Combustion Engine and Manufacturing Equipment Exhibition. More than 2,000 experts, scholars, and industry representatives from around the world — both online and offline — gathered to engage in international academic exchanges centered on "carbon peak and carbon neutrality," contributing to the achievement of "dual carbon" goals in the energy and transportation sectors.
At the exhibition site, Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. and Shandong University officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Both parties will jointly establish the "Kailong Hi-Tech – Shandong University Green Low-Carbon Energy Utilization Technology Joint R&D Center," with the goal of achieving near-zero emissions and improving the use efficiency of fossil energy.
Kailong Hi-Tech, which possesses over 300 products across three major categories — SCR systems, DPF systems, and gas engine exhaust aftertreatment systems — is one of the benchmark enterprises in the internal combustion engine components industry. Kailong Hi-Tech has a complete exhaust aftertreatment system industrial chain, with products widely applied in exhaust pollution control and industrial pollution treatment for road vehicles, off-road mobile machinery, and marine internal combustion engines. It is an important cooperative partner of mainstream engine manufacturers such as Weichai and Yuchai.
