In January 2015, Europe officially implemented the Euro VI emission standard. Emission standards primarily set limits on the concentrations of harmful gases such as CO, HC, and NOx discharged in exhaust. The higher the emission standard, the stricter the limits on vehicle exhaust pollutants. The Euro VI emission standard is extremely stringent — there is even a saying that breathing diesel engine exhaust meeting Euro VI standards would be cleaner than the air we currently breathe. As China increasingly prioritizes air quality and pushes for higher emission standards, the implementation of China VI standards has become imminent. Whether Kailong Hi-Tech can develop an exhaust aftertreatment system meeting Euro VI and China VI emission requirements has decisive significance for the company's future development.
In response to the complex structure, highly irregular component shapes, numerous process steps, and high welding difficulty of Euro VI standard exhaust aftertreatment systems, the packaging process team conducted repeated experiments, overcame difficulties, and worked overtime — ultimately developing a DOC+DPF+SCR integrated packaging system for Euro VI (see image). From this point forward, Kailong Hi-Tech has independently and successfully developed the foundational model of an integrated packaging system meeting Euro VI standards.
Compared to Kailong Hi-Tech's existing products, the Euro VI exhaust aftertreatment system has a far more complex structure, with highly irregular internal component shapes. For components with long development cycles and complex structures, as well as components that external suppliers are unable to manufacture, the packaging process team's engineers overcame numerous obstacles, making full use of the company's existing resources and working in close collaboration to personally manufacture qualified components through repeated trials — such as the mixer blades. During the manufacturing process, strong cooperation was provided by the Packaging Research Institute, tooling and mold department, and other relevant departments, completing the acceptance of tooling and molds related to the Euro VI project. We extend our sincere gratitude for the active support of our fellow departments.
Strengthened emission standards represent both a challenge and an opportunity for Kailong Hi-Tech. If we have solid technical accumulation and successfully match the upcoming Euro VI (China VI) standards, then Kailong Hi-Tech's future development will be extraordinarily bright! Therefore, the successful development of this "Euro VI" exhaust aftertreatment system holds tremendously important strategic significance for Kailong Hi-Tech's development!
