The National Technical Committee for Internal Combustion Engine Standardization / Diesel Engine SCR Exhaust Aftertreatment Working Group (SAC/TC177WG13) Re-election Meeting and SCR System Industry Standard Draft Discussion were successfully held on August 4, 2020, in Wuxi, Jiangsu. A total of 32 attendees participated, including Ji Weibin, Secretary-General of the National Technical Committee for Internal Combustion Engine Standardization; leaders from the Wuxi Xishan District Quality Supervision Bureau; Lin He, Professor and Director of the New Energy Power Research Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University; and working group members of the Diesel Engine SCR Exhaust Aftertreatment Working Group.

The meeting commenced at 9:30 AM on August 4 at Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. and was chaired by Zhou Ying, Secretary of the SAC/TC177WG13 Working Group and Deputy Director of Kailong Hi-Tech's Strategic Planning Center and Management Office of the Technology Research Institute.

Secretary-General Ji Weibin of the National Technical Committee for Internal Combustion Engine Standardization introduced the key priorities of standardization work to the assembled expert representatives, including improving standardization planning, accelerating standard revision, advancing group standards work, and strengthening the dissemination and interpretation of standards. He also provided guidance on procedures related to standard project initiation, review, drafting, and revision.

The working group reviewed and elected new leadership for the SCR Exhaust Aftertreatment Working Group. Zang Zhicheng, Chairman of Kailong Hi-Tech, was re-elected as the Group Leader. The meeting also engaged in substantive discussions on the latest drafts of SCR system industry standards, gathering input from experts to improve technical specifications and advance the standardization process for the industry.
