On March 8, with the support of the Qianqiao Street General Trade Union, Kailong Hi-Tech’s Party Committee, Trade Union, and Women’s Federation held the “In the Name of Flowers · Grateful for You” series of activities to celebrate International Women’s Day (March 8th) at the company’s Female Employees’ Carnation Service Station. More than 20 female employee representatives participated in the event.

Cutting stems, tying branches, shaping, and securing... Under the careful guidance of a floral art teacher, participants learned and crafted as they went, giving free rein to their creativity and skill in arranging beautiful combinations. Following the teacher’s step-by-step instructions, each participant created a unique floral arrangement. Looking at their own finished works, everyone was filled with joy and a sense of accomplishment.

Spring is in bloom — the perfect time to read. After the flower-arranging activity, Trade Union Vice Chairperson Hong Jia distributed copies of «Ordinary World» to the female employees, encouraging them to draw wisdom and strength from reading. During the sharing session, participants spoke freely about their feelings from reading, drawing connections to their own work experience and life stories.

This event was lively and warm in atmosphere. It enriched the spiritual and cultural lives of female employees and added a special touch to the celebration of Women’s Day. Surrounded by beautiful flowers, everyone explored the art of floral arrangement, enjoyed good books, and filled the venue with laughter and joy. The female employees expressed their commitment to bringing even greater enthusiasm to their work at Kailong Hi-Tech going forward.
