The “2024 World Internal Combustion Engine Conference” was held in Tianjin from April 19 to 23, 2024.

Under the theme “Green, Reliable, Intelligent, Efficient,” the conference aimed to “advance the development of low-carbon, zero-carbon, and carbon-neutral fuel engine technologies and promote the development of new productive forces in human society.” Nearly 40 Chinese and foreign academicians, along with scientists, entrepreneurs, and technologists from 22 countries, gathered to discuss the future of internal combustion engines and new powertrains under the “dual carbon” context.

The conference invited 21 leading enterprises in the internal combustion engine and related industries to showcase outstanding new achievements, including CATARC, Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd., China North Engine Research Institute, and the 711th Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation.

Prior to the conference, the National Key Laboratory Alliance for Internal Combustion Power, the China Internal Combustion Engine Society (CICES) Jingbo-JLU Joint Laboratory, the CICES Ammonia Engine Innovation Consortium, and the CICES Hydrogen Engine Innovation Consortium were inaugurated together. This initiative will enhance collaborative capabilities across the industry chain and contribute positively to the high-quality and sustainable development of the internal combustion engine industry.

The successful holding of the 2024 World Internal Combustion Engine Conference is set to provide valuable and meaningful references for the transformation and upgrading of internal combustion engines in the context of “dual carbon.” Looking ahead, Kailong Hi-Tech looks forward to accelerating the development of its products toward high efficiency, environmental friendliness, and innovation through deeper scientific exchanges and industrial cooperation.
