On November 10, 2016, a delegation of 8 professor-experts from member institutions of the Capital Universities Science and Technology Information Alliance, accompanied by Huishan District Party Committee Organization Department Deputy Director Xu Xuxin and Huishan District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau Deputy Director Lu Xialiang, visited Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. for an inspection visit, engaging in in-depth discussions on how to promote deep integration of industry-university-research collaboration and strengthen the company's talent reserve strategy.

At the exchange session, the Huishan District Party Committee Organization Department Deputy Director noted that the Huishan District government is accelerating its new industrialization process, committed to establishing an industry-university-research cooperation system led by the government, anchored in enterprises, supported by universities and research institutions, and characterized by resource sharing — building a platform to output high-quality university resources and extend the innovation lifeline for enterprises. He noted that Kailong Hi-Tech, as a high-tech enterprise, has always adhered to the scientific research principle of "producing one generation, developing one generation, and reserving one generation," gradually transitioning from labor-intensive to knowledge-intensive operations, moving from the local market to international markets, and seeking R&D project cooperation with renowned enterprises in the United States, Europe, and elsewhere — precisely following the guiding philosophy of "the trinity of industry, university, and research." Going forward, the Huishan District government will fully implement the talent-driven enterprise strategy, continuously innovate enterprise-university collaborative talent cultivation mechanisms, and provide comprehensive support for connecting Kailong Hi-Tech with Beijing-based universities.

After watching the Kailong Hi-Tech corporate promotional film, all expert leaders expressed amazement at Kailong's leapfrog development in the exhaust aftertreatment field, and gave high praise to Chairman Zang Zhicheng's courage and vision in insisting on independent R&D and revitalizing the national brand. Capital Universities Science and Technology Information Alliance Secretary-General Li Lin noted that Kailong Hi-Tech's talent reserves and R&D strength already hold a leading position in the industry. On behalf of the alliance of 23 Beijing universities, he expressed the alliance's strong desire for industry-university-research cooperation with Kailong, aiming to dig deep into the company's core needs, clear the channels for outputting high-quality talent, promote the transformation rate of university research achievements, and further open up a new landscape of enterprise-university complementary advantages and collaborative innovation for Kailong Hi-Tech.

Subsequently, accompanied by Operations Management Center General Manager Ma Xuefeng, the expert delegation entered Kailong Hi-Tech's product exhibition hall and jointly toured the company's production assembly lines. General Manager Ma reviewed Kailong Hi-Tech's development journey over the past decade — from developing China's first SCR exhaust aftertreatment system in 2008, to becoming the country's largest SCR R&D center and supplier; from single component production to establishing a complete aftertreatment industrial system. Through countless trials and tribulations, Kailong has persisted in working tirelessly and advancing forward in the environmental cause, with hardship and glory growing together.

This exchange opened up an entirely new perspective for Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. on deepening industry-university-research cooperation, once again confirming that science and technology talent is an important engine driving enterprise development.
