The company issued 28 million new shares in this public offering at an issuance price of ¥17.62 per share, with a price-to-earnings ratio of 37.16x. Total funds raised from new shares amounted to ¥493 million, primarily earmarked for expanding production capacity of the company's flagship product — internal combustion engine exhaust aftertreatment systems — and for construction of a new R&D center. Kailong Hi-Tech's opening price was ¥52.11 per share. By market close, shares were trading at ¥63.03 per share — a 257.72% gain on the first day of trading.

At 9:00 AM, the Kailong Hi-Tech listing bell-ringing ceremony was held at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Zhou Changqing, Deputy Mayor of Wuxi Municipal Government, and Fang Li, Acting Governor of Huishan District Government, attended the ceremony.
