On July 28, the unveiling ceremony for the Kailong Hi-Tech – Shandong University "Green Low-Carbon Energy Utilization Technology Joint R&D Center" and the Shandong University Doctoral Supervisor Appointment Ceremony were grandly held at Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. Kailong Hi-Tech Chairman Zang Zhicheng was officially appointed as a Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Shandong University. Jing Haiming, Director of the Shandong University Office for Serving Shandong, personally presented the appointment certificate to Chairman Zang Zhicheng, and all leaders and attendees at the scene extended warm congratulations.

At the same time, as an off-campus doctoral supervisor, Mr. Zang Zhicheng co-accepted this year's first doctoral student — Lu Kai, Director of the Simulation Research Institute at Kailong Hi-Tech's Technology Research Institute — together with Bai Shuzhan, Deputy Dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Shandong University. As the first doctoral student jointly trained by Kailong Hi-Tech and Shandong University, Director Lu Kai will also participate in joint R&D projects under the guidance of his supervisors — a double celebration indeed.

In taking on the role of doctoral supervisor at Shandong University's School of Energy and Power Engineering, Chairman Zang Zhicheng expressed his hope to cultivate talent through a school-enterprise combined training model that integrates practice with theory — using Kailong Hi-Tech's years of practical experience as the foundation for theoretical innovation, and validating, applying, and advancing Shandong University's rich theoretical knowledge through real-world practice. His aim is to train more and better talent for China's fields of green low-carbon research, ultra-low emission control, and new energy power, accelerating the translation of fundamental research achievements into practical applications.
