Natural disasters show no mercy, but human kindness shines through. In recent days, extreme heavy rainfall struck multiple areas of Henan Province, with Zhengzhou and other cities suffering severe flooding that caused major casualties and property losses. Before the impact of the floods had fully subsided, a new wave of COVID-19 quietly emerged. On the afternoon of August 3, Zhang Fenfang, Chair of the Qianqiao Street Federation of Trade Unions in Huishan District, together with Ma Zhilin, Party Secretary of Kailong Hi-Tech, and Ding Qiankun, Chair of the Kailong Hi-Tech Union, launched a visit and comfort campaign under the theme "The Union Stands Together, Walking Forward with Henan." They jointly visited Henan-native employees of the company, delivering mineral water, summer supplies, hand sanitizer, face masks, and other heat-relief and epidemic prevention materials to express their deep care and concern.

Company Party Secretary Ma Zhilin encouraged employees whose families had been affected by the disaster to build confidence, saying that neither the sudden flooding nor the COVID-19 pandemic would defeat them. With the help of the Party and the government, they would surely overcome the difficulties. He called on everyone to bring even greater enthusiasm to their work, do their jobs well and to the highest standard, and work together to achieve excellent results. Union Chair Ding Qiankun also encouraged Henan-native employees to face life with a positive attitude. He reminded everyone that the COVID-19 situation remains serious, and urged them to take personal protective measures while also paying attention to heat prevention during the hot August weather, balancing work and rest, and taking care of their health and safety.

Henan-native employees at the scene expressed their gratitude, noting that their hometowns had suffered flooding and that crops had been destroyed. They were deeply moved that leaders at all levels and union organizations had reached out immediately, asking in detail about the situation of their families and offering timely support and warmth.
