On September 23, the Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Jiangsu Institute of Science and Technology Development Strategy jointly released the 2021 Top 100 Innovative Private Enterprises in Jiangsu list. Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. successfully made the list, ranking 37th.

In recent years, guided by the corporate vision of "using technological innovation to make the sky bluer," Kailong Hi-Tech has focused on China's pollution prevention and air quality improvement goals for internal combustion engines. Targeting the major needs of industrial upgrading for near-zero emission control and engineering of internal combustion engines, and addressing cutting-edge international scientific challenges, the company has developed a forward-looking strategic layout. It has established a science and technology innovation and development strategy centered on three main tracks — "diesel vehicles," "off-road machinery," and "marine vessels" — building platforms for emission control technology R&D, application demonstration and evaluation testing, and technology commercialization. Over nearly two decades, the company has carved out a path of mastering core industrial technologies and commercializing scientific achievements in the field of internal combustion engine emission control technology.

In addressing harmful gas emissions from internal combustion engine exhaust, Kailong Hi-Tech has, after nearly two decades of continuous development, pioneered breakthroughs in a series of core technology bottlenecks, including high-efficiency catalysts, substrates, electronic control units, engineering numerical simulation optimization design, and independent calibration and matching technologies. The company has formed a complete set of independent internal combustion engine exhaust purification technologies — "in-cylinder purification – high-performance purification catalyst – ACU and injection system – complete machine/vehicle calibration and matching" — and launched China's first complete China IV, China V, and China VI internal combustion engine emission treatment systems. To date, Kailong holds 195 authorized patents (45 invention patents), has led or participated in drafting 19 national industry standards, received 8 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology awards, and 5 certified scientific achievements.
