On October 29, the 6th Member Congress of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association was grandly held in Beijing. The meeting voted to elect the members of the 6th Council and the supervisory board supervisors. Concurrently, the 1st Meeting of the 6th Council was held, electing the President, Vice Presidents, Secretary-General, Executive Directors, and supervisory board chair. Kailong Hi-Tech (300912) was elected as a Vice President Unit of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association Council, and Ye Jun, Director and Executive Deputy General Manager of Kailong Hi-Tech, was elected as Vice President of the 6th Council.

Ye Min, Member of the Party Group and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and Director of the National Nuclear Safety Administration, delivered a written address at the congress. He congratulated the convening of the congress, fully affirmed the work achievements of the Association since its founding, especially those of the 5th Council, and expressed that the Ministry of Ecology and Environment will continue to support the development of the environmental protection industry and the Association as always. He hoped that under the leadership of the new Council, the Association would accurately grasp the important position of the eco-environmental protection industry in the overall work of ecological civilization construction and ecological environment protection; work from the perspectives of implementing the carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategy, strengthening support for quality eco-environmental products, and improving the eco-environmental technology innovation system, to firmly underpin the eco-environmental protection industry's support for ecological civilization construction and environmental protection work; earnestly fulfill the service mission of the environmental protection industry association; give full play to its bridge and link role; adhere to "four services"; and strive to create a new landscape for environmental protection industry development and association work, contributing to China's ecological civilization construction and ecological environment protection.
